Pact with Goodness
It is important to remember that sustainability isn’t just a set of aspirations, targets and policies; it’s a responsibility that we all share. As part of this mission, we work closely with leading organisations to advance our corporate responsibility and accelerate towards a circular economy.
The Plastics Pacts
We proudly signed the UK Plastics Pact in 2018 and the Canada Plastics Pact in 2021. They are both collaborative initiatives which unite businesses, governments, and NGOs to transform the plastics system and build a circular economy.
The UK Plastics Pact is evolving into a broader initiative, the UK Packaging Pact, which reflects a strategic expansion beyond plastics to address all forms of packaging waste. Although the sentiments of the Pact remain the same, it is moving to a goals-based approach rather than fixed targets. Its original goals are being reviewed to reflect infrastructure limitations and global harmonisation.
In Canada the focus is still very much on collaborative efforts to build a more circular economy for plastic packaging. As they develop their roadmap to 2035, we will continue to be aligned with its evolving vision.

The Australian
Packaging Covenant
Organisation (APCO)
To advance our commitment to a circular economy in Australia, we are proud members of the APCO.
APCO collaborates with government, industry and community stakeholders to drive recycling reuse, and design initiatives. Following the same suit as the Plastic Pacts, APCO is accelerating progress with its newly launched 2030 Strategic Plan. The ambitious roadmap will introduce stronger incentives, clearer regulations and more robust infrastructure, whilst also addressing 2025 targets yet to be achieved.
