Working in
Partnership
Making a meaningful impact is rarely a solo effort. We recognise that real change happens through strong partnerships, and we’re proud to work alongside organisations and individuals who share our vision and values. These collaborations are central to our mission and continue to play a vital role in driving progress.
In this section, we’ll highlight some of the partnerships that matter most to us‐and the difference we’re making together.

Brewing positive change,
one cup at a time
We are one of the founding members of The Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP), the global membership organisation working towards long-term, systemic change across the tea industry.
Working with tea producers, brands, charities, and governments around the world, ETP’s aim is that everyone involved in your cup of tea, from farmers to factory workers, has a fair chance at a good life.
It has three main focus areas: helping tea workers and farmers earn a decent living, promoting equality for all (especially women), and working to protect the environment where tea is grown. ETP’s work includes promoting fairer pay for workers, helping ensure they are treated with respect, supporting climate-friendly farming and protecting precious forests and water sources.
When you choose tea from companies that are members of the Ethical Tea Partnership, you’re supporting work to improve conditions and livelihoods across the tea supply chain.
So go ahead, brew a cup that supports meaningful change!

One small frog
that matters
We’re proud to say we source 100% of our Tetley and Good Earth teas from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms, and are working towards 100% of our teapigs teas being the same, but what does this actually mean and why does it matter?
We think it matters a lot. The Rainforest Alliance is a global nonprofit that works to create a more sustainable world by transforming agricultural and forestry practices, and tea is one of its most impactful focus areas.
The certification means that farmers follow practices that protect forests, improve their livelihoods, and promote human rights of farm workers.
Brands that source their tea from the rigorous certification programme earn the right to display the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal.
For tea lovers, our blends offer more than just great taste. That little green frog on our packs signals a commitment to ethical sourcing, addressing human rights abuses head on, and building sustainable livelihood opportunities for farmers, workers, and their families.
By supporting Rainforest Alliance Certified tea, companies and consumers alike contribute to a global movement that values people, planet, and progress. It’s one small choice that brews a big impact.

Empowering women,
enriching coffee
Did you know that behind every great cup of coffee, there are incredible women making it possible?
The team at Eight O’ Clock Coffee recognise that women are central to the future of coffee and actively back initiatives that promote gender equity, economic opportunity, and environmental stewardship.
One of the ways it does this is through its support for the International Women's Coffee Association (IWCA) an organisation working to create positive change in the coffee industry.
The IWCA brings together women from around the world who are involved with coffee in some way from farmers, roasters, retailers, and more and helps them to learn new skills and access better opportunities which enable them to support themselves, their families and communities.
Whether it’s helping girls from coffee families in India pursue education through the Nayan Tara Project or supporting women entrepreneurs in Uganda to bring their coffee to the world stage, IWCA is proving that when women succeed, entire communities flourish.
What this means for those who love Eight O’Clock coffee like we do is that you are part of something much bigger.
In the words of the IWCA, Strong Women = Strong Coffee!
